The Kaulig Racing team has just announced AJ Allmendinger’s co-drivers in the #16 Cup car. It was common knowledge that Allmendinger was competing on a limited schedule. Now, the team has revealed that Noah Gragson and reigning Xfinity champion Daniel Hemric will also share the car.

Admittedly, this was ironic for many NASCAR fans. As it turns out, Gragson and Hemric are pretty fierce rivals, bordering on arch-nemeses. While the reception was mostly positive, there were others who found this line-up spicy in more ways than one. Kaulig Racing did not help matters when their promotional video featured a montage of their brawls.

Now, the trio will have to put any animosity between themselves, keeping all the bitter past aside. Moreover, it is assumed that Kaulig Racing will most likely not tolerate any tomfoolery which could compromise them.

What to expect from Daniel Hemric and Noah Gragson at Kaulig Racing?

A fair number of fans were glad to see the three drivers bury the hatchet, so to speak. So, they were all thrilled to witness the reigning Xfinity champion and a talented driver like Gragson, in the Cup Series. Meanwhile, the more comedic responses were hoping for a continuation of their brawls.

A few others were also worried about the aggression being taken out on the rest of the Cup grid. At least, Allmendinger was excited to share the garage with Hemric and Gragson. There were also positive vibes coming from Daniel Hemric, who was excited to step back into the Cup arena.

It is worth mentioning that quite a few were a bit upset that Kaz Grala missed out on the seat. Meanwhile, some wonder about Justin Haley, though it turned out that they forgot that he is a full-time Kaulig Racing driver. All in all, the fans were just excited to see Noah Gragson make his Cup debut in 2022.
