Kyle Larson recently made it to the headlines after winning the Go Bowling race at Watkins Glen. Aside from him, the race also got media attention due to the debut of F1 champion Kimi Raikkonen. A part of Trackhouse Racing’s Project91, Raikkonen returned to the track for the first time after his retirement.

Although Raikkonen did not finish the race, it seems that he had fun. Also, he was possibly left with a wrist injury from his experience on the NASCAR track. Before reaching the halfway mark, Raikkonen’s car had a run-in with the tire wall due to an impact. This forced him out of the race to finish in the 37th position.

During the Motormouth of the Race segment of the podcast, Larson was heard saying, “Yeah that was cool. I think by the time I got to hit him he was kind of struggling. He looked like he was of really loose in front of me and I was able to make quick work of him.”
