F1 is set to host the inaugural Miami Grand Prix this season. It’ll be the first of two outings in the US that the sport will have in 2022. Numerous stars from NBA, NFL, and tennis are on the list to attend the motor race as reported by Daily Mail. However, NASCAR fans have got something to say about this.
Adam Stern, a motorsport reporter, tweeted, “Celebrities expected to attend @F1Miami include LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Pharrell, Dan Marino, David Beckham, James Corden, the Williams sisters, and Wyclef”

It is needless to say that NASCAR is America’s reply to the motorsport world. It is not only the most popular form of car racing in the United States but also one of the most popular forms in the entire world. Moreover, NASCAR goes to Darlington for the race on the same day F1 hosts the race in Miami.
NASCAR fans argue about the celebrities attending the event
F1 has got pretty popular in the third most populated country in the world of late. With the inclusion of two new races in two years, the spread of the sport has been ever increasing. And now the long list of celebrities attending the event got the NASCAR fans questioning their choice.

Moreover, it’s rare for the celebrities to attend a NASCAR event this way as one fan wrote, “Don’t know what the h*ll they’re watching…SMH (shake my head)”, while another fan wrote, “I’m guessing none of them can name a single driver.”
Furthermore, another fan wrote, “Why would they go to an @F1 race when every single @NASCAR race is better?”
