Russian driver Kvyat confessed that he always wanted to visit a NASCAR race or a Kings of Leon concert. After him came Raikkonen, and in his typical fashion, the Finn bluntly stated, “I don’t have a bucket list.”
Fast-forward to today and Kvyat is doing better than attending a NASCAR race. He is racing in the season. This weekend, he will compete in his second Cup race.
Daniil Kvyat will be joined by Kimi Raikkonen on the NASCAR grid
The last time around, he race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, where he ended up retiring from the race. It was a situation that was out of his hands because the reason was a mechanical issue.
Of course, the Russian driver will be back at Watkins Glen International, and with a familiar face.

To be precise, Raikkonen will be making his Cup Series debut with Trackhouse Racing. The Finnish F1 veteran has competed in the Truck and Xfinity Series before, but it has been a while.
So, no one is really sure how well he will perform at Watkins Glen. Though it will be interesting to see Kvyat and Raikkonen battle for top F1 driver honors.
