Without a doubt, the Daytona 500 is one of the most iconic races in the history of the NASCAR Cup Series. Historically, it has been the inaugural race for the Cup Series and this year was no different. In fact, this year the competition celebrated the 65th running of the event.

It only got more special as MrBeast was seen attending the event. How is it that two months after the race it has come to light that the YouTuber attended it? Well, he himself is the answer to the question, or probably his recently uploaded video best suits as the answer.

He posted a new video a week back showcasing experiences of flying on different flights ranging from $1 to $500,000. While this reeks of a typical MrBeast video, it drew the NASCAR fans’ attention when he bought a blimp worth $300,000 or rather rented one worth the same amount.

He did so from the Orlando-based Lightship Group and had a message for one of his friends Karl. It read, “I love [heart-shaped icon] Karl’s Mom”. Amazingly, MrBeast along with his friends flew over the Daytona race track while the race was going on. It grabbed the attention of 150,000 NASCAR fans, who sportingly and funnily cheered for Karl’s mom then.

It is a funny act even by Donaldson’s standards to even attempt it. To fly a blimp over 150,000 people at one of the world’s largest motorsports events and that too with a hilarious message on it, is beyond crazy. Obviously, fans were stunned by this act back then as they posted their reactions to the stunt.
