In 2021, Hailie Deegan is sitting in 17th place in the Truck Series championship. Although it is not exactly a playoff spot, she has done a respectable job in her debut season. She even has a best finish of 13th place at Kansas and Charlotte. Of course, being a well-known racing driver, Deegan boasts of millions of fans, especially on social media
The 20-year-old kicked off her racing career at an early age like many other racers. She joined the ARCA Menards Series back in 2018, and was the 2020 ARCA Rookie of the Year. Now, she is taking things one step further in her rookie Truck Series season. It also helps that she comes from a rich racing pedigree, courtesy her father Brian Deegan.
When away from the track, Hailie Deegan has a number of off-track hobbies. Last year, she bought a brand-new Ford GT350 and showed it off on social media. According to her, the muscle car was her “dream GT350”. Other hobbies include riding a bicycle, a motorcycle or even a surfboard.

How has Hailie Deegan performed in 2021?
Admittedly, the season-opener at the Daytona International Speedway, did not yield much reward. This was because, Hailie Deegan got involved in a crash and finished all the way down in 24th. Nevertheless, theCalifornia native has continued to improve in the #1 David Gilliland Racing Ford.
Without a doubt, Deegan is ambitious race car driver with a number of designs in various racing series. These include Short-Course Off Road, ARCA and NASCAR. Now, she will be looking forward to wrapping up her maiden full-time season in the Truck Series. Obviously, the Top 10 is out of question, as that is reserved for the Playoff drivers. However, the Top 15 is fair game and she will definitely try her hardest to claw her way up the order.
