Away from tennis, Naomi Osaka is catching up on a good deal of me-time these days. And giving her company is her adorable new pet, a French Bulldog pup that she has been raising and rearing like a doting mother.
The current women?s World No.2 withdrew from the ongoing Wimbledon Championships to give herself more time to get her focus back on tennis and prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Japanese star withdrew from the public eye in the wake of her shock pullout from this year?s French Open.

The decision was, in a way, forced upon her after the tournament organizers threatened her with expulsion for choosing not to attend press conferences during the event.
Though she underlined the reasons for her withdrawal in a detailed explainer to the organizers, the French Tennis Federation responded by imposing a fine of $15,000 and saying she was risking expulsion with her stand vis-a-vis the press.

Short of options, Osaka shared a note on Twitter announcing her pullout from the women?s draw and revealing her struggles with mental illness over the last couple of years and nervous breakdowns before meeting the press.
While the noise around her withdrawal is yet to die down, the reigning Australian Open champion couldn?t care less as she is busy soaking up the sun with her pup.
She posted a series of images and clips showing her fans how she bonds with her pet. She tagged them with a post saying, ?I?m a mother, no drama?.
The first image shows the Japanese tennis star cradling her pet and flashing a smile as she clicks a selfie.

The next clip shows the pup resting on Osaka?s arm as they take a ride in a vehicle.
Another image shows the tennis star resting in the shade by the pool and her pup cuddling on her lap.
A second clip shows Osaka walking on a treadmill and her pet sitting patiently by and watching her go through her paces.
In another adorable image, the pup is seen throwing her paws back and craning her head to a video game on a giant screen.
The last image shows the Japanese out for a drive on a sunny California day with her pup.
