Japanese tennis star, Naomi Osaka took her second consecutive Grand Slam win at Australian Open 2019. The 21-year old managed to fend off a spirited fight from Czech player Petra Kvitova.
Osaka built on her 2018 US Open triumph and held her nerve to down Kvitova in three sets. She took the opening set in a tiebreaker before dropping the second set. But Osaka bounced back to snatch the third set. The final score read, 7-6, 5-7, 6-4 in the Japanese player’s favour. Here is how Twitter reacted to the Women’s Final.
