In the women’s game, Naomi Osaka has been a very prominent name, taking women’s tennis to new heights. Courtesy of her talent and courage, she has emerged as a global phenomenon. Notably, the Japanese star celebrated her 24th birthday last month and recently revealed a few gifts that she received. 

Naomi Osaka received gifts from luxury brands Louis Vuitton and Play Station. Recently, she posted a story on social media about the gifts she received. The four-time Grand Slam winner has been an avid gamer and was involved in the promotional activity of the gaming console.

Naomi Osaka became the face of a luxury brand in January 2021

She is the Brand Ambassador for Louis Vuitton who recently gifted her a pair of Arclight Pumps from their latest collection. Earlier in January this year, just prior to the Australian Open, she became the face of the luxury brand. 

In her career so far, Osaka has become the star campaigner of a wide range of high-end brands. She is the face of Japanese carmaker Nissan, cosmetics producers Shiseido and even companies like Nike and Yonex. She was once declared the most marketed female athlete on the planet.

Coming to tennis, Osaka has had a mixed season this year; She got off to a brilliant start by winning her fourth Grand Slam title in Melbourne. However, a little after starting the French Open campaign, she withdrew from the tournament citing mental health concerns. 

Notably, she then decided to skip the Wimbledon Championships as well. Returning shortly after, she did not go deep into the Tokyo Olympics either. Following that, she was unable to defend her US Open title as well.
