Naman Ojha has 6877 runs on his name with a batting average of 42.62 in first class cricket. He also had his best Ranji season so far as he scored 835 runs in 7 outings. Hard work seems to have finally paid off for the Madhya Pradesh batsman and if he gets a chance it will be his test debut for India. He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka at Harare which wasn’t the most successful one and his innings lasted just seven ball . He had a fairly successful IPL season with Sunrisers Hyderabad scoring consistently throughout the tournament.
With Captain Dhoni being India’s Wicket keeper, the chances of Naman Ojha making to the India’s playing 11 are really dim but considering his recent form, he definitely is the best man for the job.
