The Milwaukee Bucks are standing at a point of no return after today’s loss against the Miami Heat. They are down 0-3 and no team has ever turned it around after being down 3 games. The Heat could recover from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter and came out victorious with a score of 115-100. While many believe that Bucks’ star player Giannis Antetokounmpo should have played more than just 35 minutes, the stats show a different story altogether.
Do the Bucks perform better with Giannis off the court?
Coach Mike Budenholzer has always been that one person who gives his bench players plenty of game-time. The plus side to this also being that his best player gets ample time to rest because of this. Giannis bagged 21 points, 16 rebounds, and 9 assists for a near triple-double but was inefficient in on the offensive front. He is a player who can record much higher than just 30+ minutes in a game, but why isn’t he?

Well, it looks like the stats have spoken. “The Bucks are outscored by 34 points when Giannis is on the court in three games vs the Heat. That -34 +/- is the worst by any player on the Bucks,” tweeted Statsmuse.
Can Giannis still say with utmost certainty that his being on court longer is beneficial for the team?

If things couldn’t get any worse for them, Giannis tweaked his ankle during the first half. This could pose a huge issue for the Bucks from this point onwards. If not win, the least they could do is put up a better fight and go out like warriors. They will need a miracle to win four straight games and prevent their elimination.
What is it that the Miami Heat bring to the table?

Jimmy Butler is that powerful tool that Miami Heat has that so far deserves the credit for the Heat’s winning streak. He scored 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. What looked like Heat’s first loss in both the rounds, became Butler’s big opportunity to come off the bench and score 17 points and grab the win for the team.
The way Heat has been playing, it is close to impossible for the Bucks to stay alive in this playoff series.
