Things are looking up for Golden State Warriors teammates Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins. After many predictions and rumors, they have seemingly secured their positions with their team for the foreseeable future. Both Poole and Wiggins have reportedly agreed on a multi-year contract with Golden State. Notably, players are represented by CAA Sports.

The contract extension was in the works between the Warriors and Poole for a while now. Earlier projections showed his salary to be in the million-dollar figure. However, following the recent altercation between Draymond Green and Poole, the latter may have received an improved offer.

Last year, Poole quickly became one of the cornerstones of the team. He showed a lot of promise and had an incredible free-throw percentage of 92.5. The new deal showcases the Warriors’ belief in Poole as the franchise looks to secure its future.

But that was just one contract. The Warriors also extended the contract for Andrew Wiggins, who will clock in millions as well.?Both his father Mitchell, who also played for the NBA, and his mother Marita, an Olympian, gave him his athletic traits.

The assistant coach of the Warriors, Bruce Fraser told that Wiggins is not a dominant player, but he is a “dominant piece” in the team. He reiterated that the former number one draft pick perfectly fits with the team.

The two contracts got finalized during the pre-season and just before that Warriors take on the Los Angeles Lakers in the opening game of the new season on October 18. Additionally, the Warriors were said to have overshot their roster expenses, locking in the two players. Some fans have also been questioning their cap.
