MotoGP 21: Of nostalgia and new-gen

Being one of the oldest iconic sports video games, we have witnessed Moto GP since the days of 64-bit gaming in the early ’90s. Watching the trailer for the latest title in the series, showcasing the new-gen of gaming, really invokes nostalgia.

Players on the new-gen consoles will get to play the game in 4K and at 60FPS. In addition to this, they will also have shorter loading times. Furthermore, players on the PS5 will get an even better gaming experience, thanks to the DualSense Controller.

Milestone apparently has made some changes to how things were in the previous titles. In MotoGP 21, devs have increased the number of online players from 12 to 22 in a single race. In addition to this, devs have also removed the respawn feature. If you fall off your bike, you do not instantly respawn on it. Instead, you will have to run to your bike and resume the race (Road Rash, anyone?).

The title will feature even more impressive features, like better suspension physics, and the Long Lap Penalty, which will make the penalty system more accurate. Well, looks like it is a great time to be a MotoGP fan!
