2020 is coming to an end and it was a great year for tennis players like Rafael Nadal and Sofia Kenin as they were victorious at the Slams. However, there were many others who also did very well. Argentine Diego Schwartzman played some of his best tennis in 2020. This is why he was able to reach his first Masters 1000 final and his first Grand Slam semi-final. In addition to that, he also moved up in the rankings, and hence also qualified for the ATP Finals. If he continues playing like this in 2021, we can surely expect him to pick up some big titles.
Felix Auger-Aliassime
Young Felix Auger-Aliassime had a great 2020 as he reached the 4th round of the US Open. It is his best performance at a Grand Slam, and he had to go past players like Andy Murray to get there. In addition to that, he also won his first doubles title at the Rolex Paris Masters. At the young age of 20, he has already achieved a lot and he will achieve more in the future.
Jannik Sinner
Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner made his breakthrough in 2020 with some amazing performances. He reached his first-ever Major quarter-final and in addition to that, he also won his first ATP title. He is only 19 years old, which makes his achievements incredible. If his rise continues in 2021, he will achieve much more.
Denis Shapovalov
Denis Shapovalov reached his first-ever Major quarter-final at the 2020 US Open. In addition to that, he also reached the semis at the Italian Open and the St. Petersburg Open. Ever since 2017, he has been hailed as a NextGen player to watch out for. He hasn’t won any big titles yet, but that could surely change in 2021.

Aryna Sabalenka
2020 was one of Sabalenka‘s best years. She won three titles and they came at the Qatar Open, the Ostrava Open, and the Linz Open. In addition to that, she also ended the year as World No. 10. She did not perform too well at the Slams, and changing that will certainly be her aim for the upcoming season.
Elina Svitolina
Ever since her ATP Finals’ win in 2018, Svitolina was struggling to win a WTA tournament. However, that all changed in 2020 as she picked up 2 titles in Monterrey and in Strasbourg. A Grand Slam title still remains out of her reach, but she is going to do her best to change that next year.

Jennifer Brady
American tennis player Jennifer Brady had an amazing 2020 season. She beat World No.1, Ashleigh Barty at Brisbane, she won her first WTA title and also reached her first Grand Slam semi-final. If she continues to play like this, everybody should watch out for her in 2021.
