The fight between the billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has amassed a shipload of attention from the entire world. But things went wild when the Italian government offered to let the two fight at the Colosseum like gladiators. The Tesla CEO seemed especially amused with the idea and took to Twitter to share the news.

Although Maye Musk, mother of the Twitter boss, has repeatedly disapproved of the fight. Instead, she even put forth an alternative way to settle the score between her son and Zuckerberg. However, as per the UFC president Dana White, the two giants are hell-bent on facing each other in an MMA cage. With Italy’s offer to host the fight at the Colosseum, all eyes have been glued to Musk and Zuckerberg.

TMZ Sports recently declared that the government of Italy contacted both Musk and Zuckerberg, and provided them with an option to fight like gladiators. Thereafter, the CEO of Tesla took to Twitter and relayed the news to the world.

Musk seemed excited about the chance to fight at the Colosseum. He wrote, “Some chance fight happens in Colosseum.” Although he revealed that the chance of the fight happening at one of the seven wonders of the world was a slight one indeed, his excitement splashed through his words in the comments section.

The pinned comment had a clip from the Russell Crowe starrer movie, ‘Gladiator’. He even put forth a famous dialogue from the movie.

Musk quoted, “What we do in life, echoes in eternity.” Without a doubt, the idea seemed to excite the billionaire. Furthermore, the netizens also seemed to think of the proposal as an exciting take to fight. However, Musk’s mother has stood strong in her disapproval of the fight.

Musk’s mother, Maye Musk has dismissed the idea of her son’s fight with Zuckerberg from the very beginning. She even came up with an alternative option for the billionaires to come to an agreement.

She took to Twitter and wrote, “A verbal fight only. Three questions each. The funniest answers win. Who agrees?” Doubtlessly, her motherly love prevented her from supporting any such act that might harm her son.
