In a rain-affected game between Kent and Surrey in the Vitality Blast T20 League, Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi sealed the deal for his side Kent against Surrey. The game was reduced to a 13-overs-a-side at first before the game got delayed after the first ball was bowled.
Kent won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, Aaron Finch led Surrey put up 54 after 7 overs where Finch scored a 20-ball 36 at The Oval. Apart from Finch, no other batter was able to reach the double figures.

In reply, Mohammad Nabi single-handedly won the game for Kent. He came to bat in the second over and started hitting all-over the park. He smashed five sixes and two fours and hit a 12-ball 43. His herculean batting took his team over the line in just four overs. However, with this win, Kent placed at the top of the table with four wins from four games.
Nabi has a good outing in the recently concluded ICC World Cup where although they didn’t have a great campaign. Afghanistan nearly pulled off the things twice, including one against India.
