Joe Rogan became a household name about 20 years ago as a TV show host on Fear Factor, which was a reality competition of terrifying challenges and stunts. He is now one of American media’s most powerful and influential figures. Today, a man of his stature is hard to reach, even on social media, where a majority of his followers are found.

Joe Rogan reported not too long ago that he does not like to read comments on any of his social media handles. He said that he avoided negative comments, especially at night, and would rather read them in the morning. However, the Rogan 12 years back engaged with his social media audience quite frequently as compared to the Rogan we know now. Lets take a look back at some of the comments he made back in the day.

Joe Rogan was less withdrawn and far more conversant in the past

One such moment was from 2010, when Joe replied to a question on fatherhood. A worried first-time dad asked Joe, “my wife is pregnant right now. Please tell me, when the baby comes does the crazy go?” To which he replied, “no, but babies are awesome so it’s ok“.

He graced the comments with replies and as one notices. Perhaps, the reactions were much emptier than what it would’ve been today. Rogan is known for being a family man who keeps his private life quiet.

Rogan is a dad with three daughters and has a wife of 13 years

His is no Hollywood marriage story. Rogan and his wife Jessica Ditzel have been married since 2009 and have two girls together. While Rogan admitted that he only married because Jessica got pregnant, the commitment they share is deeper than a piece of paper. He had reportedly told the media that the secret to their strong marriage is the freedom his wife gives him to do whatever he wants.

Rogan adopted a daughter, Kayja Rose Rogan, who is biracial after her biological father passed away. Kayja’s biological father was the lead singer of H-town, Kevin ‘Dino’ Conner. It was Jessica Ditzel, who dated Kayja’s father when he was alive and even birthed a daughter in 1996. After he died along with his fiancee Teshya Rae Weisant, in a car accident in 2003, Rogan officially adopted Kayja. She is currently pursuing a career in the music industry.
