The main event at UFC Vegas 32 featured the return of former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw. The former champion marked his return to the UFC octagon with a fight against top-ranked bantamweight Cory Sandhagen. ‘The Sandman’ went into the fight on the back of two impressive knockout wins. His most recent knockout win over Frankie Edgar is in strong contention for knockout of the year.
A win for Sandhagen would have seen him secure a title shot in his next fight; A win for Dillashaw would have helped him flag off his return in style.
The fight at the UFC APEX was extremely close. Heading into the fifth round, most fans and pundits alike had it 2-2. However, Dillashaw did enough in round number five to secure a split-decision win over an extremely tough opponent. With the win, the former champion has thrown his name right back in the mix at bantamweight.

Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling made his pick for the main event.
I picked Sandhagen to win but I really don’t know. Is Dillashaw finally competing clean? Has his run since his Dodson loss really been suped up as his former teammates have said in the past? Either way both have serious skills and I’m paying attention! #UFCVegas32
