Johnson, who recently appeared on the ‘MMA Hour’ in an interview with Ariel Helwani, shared his thoughts on this unfortunate incident involving Jones.

‘Mighty Mouse’ said – “I want the best for Jon Jones, him and his family. And you know, I think he said it best, you know. He has a lot of demons about alcohol, and hopefully, he can get past that. And you know, be a good role model for you know, all the children and all the dads out there, and for his daughters.”
“So, I am wishing him nothing but the best, and we have always had great interactions with each other each time we worked with each other. So, yeah, it’s just unfortunate and sad, and yeah.” – Johnson added.
When will Jon Jones return to the UFC?
Jones last fought Dominick Reyes on February 8, 2020, at UFC 247. The bout went the distance, ending with Jones defending his UFC light heavyweight title via unanimous decision.

A while after that, Jones vacated his title to move up to the heavyweight division. Ever since then, he is looking for a formidable opponent to make a great heavyweight debut against. However, after this recent incident, his UFC comeback date will probably be pushed back further.
As of September 2021, there is no official news regarding his next fight. Nevertheless, fans will tune in whenever he makes his heavyweight debut.
