Former UFC dual division champion Conor McGregor is currently recovering from the ghastly leg snapping incident suffered during his trilogy clash with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The Irishman suffered his successive loss against the same opponent.
He underwent successful surgery the next day and also informed his fans of the same. ‘The Notorious’ one won’t be able to fight till next year, as per his doctors.

While he may not be able to enjoy fighting for a while now, that won’t stop him from enjoying the luxurious life he owns. Just days after being released from the hospital, McGregor unveiled his brand new Lamborghini Yacht.
‘The Notorious’ one took to Instagram and posted the picture of the magnificent yacht that will join his fleet of luxurious items.
McGregor had revealed last year in October that he will receive the 12th edition of the 63 cars to be made. Priced around $3.5 million, this 63 ft yacht is coupled with 4000bhp, twin-turbo, dual engine, and is termed ‘Supercar of the Sea’.
The Italian Sea Group and Tecnomar have designed and built the Tecnomar 63 for Lamborghini. The 24-ton yacht can reach a top speed of 69mph (60 knots) and has a pair of 24.2-liter V-12 diesel.
This yacht has an angular and futuristic design with Y-shaped headlamps and the Lamborghini logo scripted on it. Just like Lamborghini’s mid-engine hybrid sports car, the Sian FKP 37, this model too has a dashboard. The exterior of the yacht has taken a cue from the Lamborghini Miura and Countach from the 1960s and 1970s.
What’s next for Conor McGregor after the loss at UFC 264?
As mentioned, McGregor would be out for almost a year. He would start his recovery after spending some weeks on the crutches. A man of his stature won’t bow down after losing a fight via doctor stoppage. So, what will happen when he returns? Who will he face?
If there would have been any other fighter returning from a long layoff, he or she would have gone against a normal fighter to start. But McGregor is far away from just being a normal fighter.
In all possibility, he will fight a guy who is close to his drawing power. Perhaps a trilogy against Nate Diaz would be the best option. Just like with Poirier before the trilogy, McGregor has a score to upstage against Diaz. They are currently tied with 1 win and a loss apiece. So this could be the best possible way for UFC to go ahead.

This will also allow them to stage a potential Gaethje vs Chandler match for the title eliminator. Thus if McGregor wins his fight against Diaz, he could face the winner of this battle and land into the title picture possibly against Poirier.
But all things said and done, the recovery time would be almost crucial for any of the aforementioned scenarios to take place.
