Conor McGregor sets an example of a good teammate
The coronavirus pandemic has been hard on businesses. Multiple lockdowns and the fact that the virus is still spreading rapidly has meant that people are cautious of stepping out. This has affected small businesses majorly.
Businesses such as restaurants and gyms have suffered even more so given that they’re among the last to be allowed to open.

Philip Mulpeter who owns SBG Portarlington, recently shared that the gym would have to be shut down due to the financial burden brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.
Upon learning what was happening, Conor McGregor stepped in and offered to save the gym and help financially.
While speaking about how Conor helped, Mulpeter said, “I was like nearly crying there. I didn’t know what to say to him, to be honest. I’m forever grateful to him. He basically saved our little community. Words can’t express what he’s done for us. I know that he gets bad press. People don’t report on it, but he does this stuff all the time. Conor is not looking for gratitude, he’s not looking for the media to spread this around.”
