Israel Adesanya is an eclectic and extremely expressive individual, which applies to all areas of his life, be it his tattoos or his dressing style, or anything else. ‘The Last Stylebender’ makes sure that he does things in his own unique way.

This also applies to his walkouts and post-fight celebrations. After a stunning knockout, Adesanya often breaks out his awesome dance moves as seen after his win over Paulo Costa. ‘Izzy’ also had one of the best walkouts ever seen in the UFC when he took on Robert Whittaker. His friends accompanied him, and they performed a small routine before Adesanya rushed into the octagon.

In a sport where the connection between fans and fighters is so strong, fans often want to know the most minute details about their favorite fighters. Given that Israel Adesanya is known for his unique walkouts, we take a look at the important aspect of a good walkout; the walkout song.

Adesanya does not stick to one particular song for his walkouts like a lot of fighters do. He likes to switch it up from fight to fight. In his most recent fight against Jan Blachowicz, ‘Izzy’ walked out to the song “Summer Madness” by Kool & The Gang. Against Costa at UFC 253, Adesanya walked out to “Ruggedy Baba” by Ruggedman feat. 9ice.

Does Israel Adesanya need a finish to prove himself?

It is no secret that Robert Whittaker was the next in line for a title shot. However, since he was not ready for a fight in June, the UFC offered the fight to Marvin Vettori. ‘Izzy’ has stated publicly that he was not very excited by the prospect of facing Vettori, someone he has already beaten.

However, after watching his friend Kamaru Usman silence all doubters with a stunning finish over Jorge Masvidal in their rematch, he was inspired to do the same to Marvin Vettori to silence his doubters.

‘Izzy’ has predicted a second-round finish. However, that will be easier said than done. Adesanya is extremely tough on himself with his performances inside the cage. Therefore, if he cannot secure a dominant win over Vettori, his performance might not satisfy him.
