UFC welterweight fighter Jordan Williams recently posted a surveillance video on his Instagram channel where the 30-year-old could be seen confronting a car thief. The video showed a man entering William’s car while the fighter was inside a convenience store.
The would-be thief then started the vehicle and was running away before the fighter rushed outside and caught him. Williams fed him with some clinch knees and threw him out of the car. The would-be thief then ran away before the fighter could do anything else with him.

Williams posted the surveillance video and wrote, “So someone tried to steal my car today #thatfannypacktho. If you are wondering why my car was still on it’s the same reason why he couldn’t drive away, I have a push to start and my car won’t go unless the keys are within 5 ft of it and I have them on me always.”
“Needless to say, my lesson was learned and I hope so was his. Wish I would of hit him with the trip after the clinch work when I tossed him out of the whip, and finish off with some ground and pound, but I’ll settle with getting my car back. Also, I know you see the stillness of that fannypack, fannyback game was on point this could be a commercial for them.”
This is not the first time a UFC fighter had to deal with a car thief. A few months back, UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis had confronted a man who tried to break into his vehicle. Just like Williams, Lewis too taught a lesson to the car thief.

Prior to that, he lost to Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Fight Night: Holm vs Aldana via unanimous decision. His last win came against Gregory Rodrigues, where he knocked the latter in round 1 of the ‘Contender Series.’
The car-thieving incidents have grown in recent times. But one thing is certainly clear. No matter whose car thieves try to steal, a UFC fighter is the last person they would want to deal with.
