UFC ring announcer, aka the voice of UFC, Bruce Buffer, has introduced ‘Gamebred’ Jorge Masvidal countless times in his career. It is almost impossible to impersonate the legendary announcer. But a fan tried his all as he imitated Masvidal’s introduction like by like, which also surprised the icon.
‘Gamebred’ recently visited Lee’s Discount Liquor store in Las Vegas, where he signed many Recuerdo Mezcal bottlesbottles, a liquor brand that he has a partnership with.

While signing, one fan saw him and couldn’t control his excitement. He went near the BMF champ and gave him an introduction exactly like Buffer’s. Masvidal, after listening to this, couldn’t control his astonishment and clapped his hands in a show of applause for the fan.
It seems like Masvidal has engaged himself in dealing in promotional activities after the consecutive title fight losses. He has also been giving quite a few interviews of late.

The ‘Gamebred‘ is eyeing a late 2021 return to the octagon. It’s still not apparent right now against whom he would make his return. But unlike most of the fighters, it’s not that difficult to find an opponent for him considering the fame and money-making opportunities he presents.
What’s next for Jorge Masvidal?
Masvidal’s (35-15) dream of capturing the welterweight crown came crashing down to pieces after suffering back-to-back defeats to Usman. If he had any excuses for his loss at UFC 251 (short notice acceptance), it was all buried by Usman in their next fight at UFC 261 in this year’s April.
If we ponder upon his opponents, there are two or three good matchups for his liking. First, a rematch with Nate Diaz for the BMF title could be a perfect one. Although Masvidal had won their fight in 2019, it still didn’t end the way he would have liked.
Diaz made a strong return this year at UFC 263. Although he lost the fight to Leon Edwards, his performance, especially in the last round, where he almost knocked a dominant Edwards out, was well received by the fans. So, he could run the marathon again with Masvidal if he wants to.
Another fighter, who is likely to be his next opponent, is Diaz slayer Leon Edwards. Edwards is currently undefeated in his last 10 matches and perfectly deserved a title fight. But UFC president Dana White instead went ahead with a rematch involving Usman and Colby Covington.

He also hinted at a possible matchup between Masvidal and Edwards later this year. Although Edwards denied taking the match at first, he seems to have sorted his ideas and recently challenged the ‘Gamebred’.
