Israel Adesanya is the middleweight champion in the UFC. ‘The Last Stylebender’ is one of the most popular fighters in the UFC, thanks to his personality and his fighting prowess. Adesanya recently started a YouTube channel to let fans know him a bit better.
On his channel, ‘The Last Stylebender’ provides a host of different content, including behind-the-scenes clips of his training camps, detailed breakdown of upcoming fights, breaking down his own victories, and live reactions to UFC pay-per-view events.‘Izzy’ recently posted a video on his channel compiling his best reactions to fights that took place in 2021 titled, “The Best Israel Adesanya UFC Reactions of 2021”. One of the standout moments of the video was ‘Izzy’ reacting to Conor McGregor’s fracture at UFC 264.

‘The Last Stylebender’ was quick to point out that something had happened to McGregor’s foot. ‘Izzy’ looked on in utter disbelief as his assessment of the situation was spot on. The New Zealand native could barely watch on as his fellow Paradigm sports athlete suffered one of the most gruesome injuries ever witnessed during a live UFC event.

Israel Adesanya returns to the US for yet another title defense at UFC 271

After his most recent title defense against Marvin Vettori, ‘Izzy’ had only one target in his mind, a rematch with Robert Whittaker. ‘Izzy’ called out ‘The Reaper’ for a rematch and stated that this time around he would like it to take place in his home country given that the first fight took place in Australia.

However, given the uncertain times the world is in right now, the UFC decided against putting on an event in Oceania and opted to book the rematch in the United States itself. Rounds six to ten will take place in the Toyota Center in Houston. Both Adesanya and Whittaker have never competed at this venue. Over the last two years, Texas and Houston in particular have been heavily favored by the UFC. The promotion has put on multiple PPV events in the city in the past two years and brings yet another stacked card in 271 to Houston.
