UFC Vegas 36 will take place this weekend with an all-important middleweight clash between Darren Till vs Derek Brunson serving as the headliner. Apart from the headlining clash, there are some other clashes that will entertain the fans. One of those clashes is between featherweights Julian Erosa and Charles Jourdain in the prelims.

‘Juicy J’ Erosa saw his consecutive fights winning streak getting snapped by Seung Woo Choi at UFC on ESPN 25: Korean Zombie vs Ige. The latter defeated Erosa via an astounding KO in round 1 to end his streak. He had picked up a phenomenal KO win over Nate Landwehr at UFC Fight Night 185: Blaydes vs Lewis.

Erosa needs to understand his limits and tone down his ultra instinctive aggression a bit. If he can look back at his flurry of knockout losses, he would understand what he needs to do. He always feels slogging on his opponents will fetch him victory. Sometimes it comes off, sometimes it doesn’t, and this battle against Jourdain is far from a straightforward slugging fest for ‘Juicy J’.

Jourdain has explosive punching power combined with durability. This way, Erosa’s game style could actually favor Jourdain instead of helping him. Erosa, though, has a short in the armor if he could bring his wrestling skills, but Jourdain can last long and is a scratchy customer, meaning it would backfire big time for ‘Juicy J’. In the end, it seems to go in the favor of the ‘Air’.

Final Prediction: Jourdain via third-round knockout
