After his recent bout and unsuccessful attempt at capturing a title in another weight class, Israel Adesanya will return to defend his middleweight belt. Both Kelvin Gastelum and Robert Whittaker have fought ‘The Last Stylebender’ and have come up short. Hence, they will aim to secure a rematch with a good display tomorrow.

Both Gastelum and Whittaker are primarily known for their striking. In this bout, ‘The Reaper’ will have a two-inch reach advantage over his adversary. Gastelum used his wrestling and grappling skills effectively against Heinisch to secure a win, and might look at doing the same against the former champion.

However, with a takedown defense of 84%, it might be difficult to get ‘The Reaper’ off his feet. If Gastelum is forced to keep the fight standing, he will most likely fall short against a superior striker in Robert Whittaker.
