“Bodybuilding does not exist”- Joe Rogan makes a surprise statement
While discussing usage of steroids in bodybuilding, Rogan said, “Let’s look at bodybuilding. Bodybuilding is the best one. It does not exist. Bodybuilding does not exist. Bodybuilding with steroids, exists. I had a friend, my friend Brian who lived in Boston, was a natural bodybuilder. And he was very dedicated, and he was a legitimate bodybuilder.
Rogan continued, “He worked out very hard and ate very clean. And he was super dedicated. You would swear he was on steroids. He was big…. He is nothing like those giants you see at the gym that are on steroids. There are people that walk around…. They don’t even look like humans they look like walls with feet.”
Bodybuilding is perhaps one of the very few sports where the use of steroids is allowed. It is a rare case where using steroids is the only way to be able to compete at the highest level.

Joe went on to share a conversation he had with eight-time Mr. Olympia winner Ronnie Coleman, who joined him on his podcast. Rogan revealed that Coleman started taking steroids after thirty, as he realized he would not be able to compete if he did not start taking steroids. However, he competed clean before he turned thirty.
