Joe Rogan is no doubt the greatest UFC commentator the fighting community has ever seen. He is also famous for his globally followed podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, where he is joined in conversation by various celebrities. In episode 1875 of the podcast, with comedian Dave Smith, Joe Rogan talks about Din Thomas doing commentary for events.

Din Yero Thomas is a featherweight and welterweight fighter in the UFC. He is a UFC 41 Lightweight Tournament Semifinalist. Notably, he fought nine bouts and later became a full-time coach.

The duo talked about some fighters being better at coaching. “It’s good to see guys who have like a ton of experience, and were great fighters, get involved in coaching,” said Joe Rogan. “Like Din Thomas was a really good fighter but he’s probably a better coach,” remarked Dave Smith. “He should be doing commentary for events as well,” Rogan added.

Joe Rogan found Daniel Cormier’s replacement in Din Thomas

Daniel Ryan Cormier, nicknamed ‘DC’, is a former practitioner of MMA and the former UFC Light-Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion. He is the current commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He does commentary alongside Joe Rogan with Jon Anik as the man on the mic from inside the cage.

Joe Rogan, in his podcast featuring Dave Smith, revealed his desire to see Din Thomas as a commentator for events. “I would like to sit, I would love to do a show with him where me and him do commentary, like if it’s one that DC can’t make or something,” said Joe Rogan. Rogan claimed that Din Thomas had the best insight on the sport, and whenever he went to him, he was impressed at Dinyero’s skills and insight.

It does seem like Joe Rogan has found the perfect replacement for Daniel Cormier in Din Thomas, in case ‘DC’ ever decided not to show up for commentating.
