Jean-Claude Van Damme was a fanboy for Sylvester Stallone
Jean Claude Van Damme is known for displaying his excellent Martial arts technique in his Hollywood movies. The Action star was born in Belgium in 1860 and was a huge Sylvester Stallone fan since his early years.

JCVD shared “I was around his house, and I see this blonde lady — it was his first wife [Sasha Czack] — coming out with a bicycle,” his intention was to meet the Rocky star and do Karate with him.
“I was trying to go above his wall. … [Czack] saw that, she called the cops. They came right away. But I [said], ‘I’m a big fan. I just want to do karate with Stallone.’ They [heard] the accent, they saw in my eyes I was innocent. They said, ‘Move on,’”. Jean Claude got lucky to escape from the law there, but was not lucky enough to go toe to toe against Stallone.

How Van Damme got his fight with “Rambo” much later
But as fate would have it, Van Damme became a star in Hollywood. It was Sylvester Stallone himself who offered Van Damme a role in his film, Expendables 2.
But, Van Damme had a problem with how his character was treated. So, the Martial artist went to Stallone hesitantly to ask for some changes in the script.

Van Damme recalls “Stallone, I think people want to see Muhammad Ali against Frasier. It’s a metaphor. Look at your arms, you’re strong. We need to do a fight. I need to give you myself to punch and kick the s*** out of me. And hopefully, I will do some damage to you,” Van Damme further added. “He said, ‘I tell you what. Go and design the fight!’

Van Damme happily obliged the Action Hero’s request and designed a kick-ass fight scene.
