‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul headlined a Triller fight card against ‘Funky’ Ben Askren on Saturday. The former once again proved that he is an extremely marketable athlete, as the event made a killing. Besides the boxing matches and crossover bouts, Triller put on a spectacle as the likes of Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, among others performed before and in between fights.
The event was a massive success with Jake Paul claiming that it sold about 1.3 million in PPV buys generating about $75 million in revenue, which is an extremely impressive feat. 1.3 million in PPV sales is sure to translate into big paydays for both Ben Askren and Paul himself.
However, after the event, some sections of combat athletes mocked Paul and in extension mocked boxers. Furthermore, he opined on what Paul should look for in his fourth fight.

Sean O’Malley lays out the roadmap for Jake Paul
UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley was in attendance for the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren fight. Having seen the action up close, he had a few thoughts on the event and Paul’s performance, which he shared with his subscribers on YouTube.
He said, “Jake Paul can box and Ben Askren is not a boxer. Both those things are important. For Jake Paul what’s next? I’d say if I was Jake Paul, Imma look for the biggest payday, another super fight like this, and who is the worst guy I can fight.”

‘Sugar’ continued, “He’s 3-0, a lot of pro boxers they go 20-0 beating up bums…. Jake is 3-0 selling out huge PPVs. I feel like he’s still gotta keep building slowly… He’s calling out Nate Diaz and stuff these are potential huge fights, I don’t think anyone in the UFC is going to be able to get out of their contracts…. So anyone in the UFC is probably not going to be his next opponent.”
After making quick work of Ben Askren, the opportunities are endless for ‘The Problem Child’. He recently tweeted saying Nate Diaz would be done in three. However, it seems unlikely that he will fight a UFC fighter next.
