UFC 264 witnessed a live crowd for the fourth time this year. As usual, along with crowds, came a host of celebrities, mainly from the film industry.

Former US President Donald Trump too made an appearance (escorted by Dana White to the octagon) at the iconic event headlined by ‘The Notorious’ one, Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

Unlike other celebrities, who were shown on the television when they walked in for the show, the former President got neglected by the production team of the promotion.

The L.A crowd raised rousing welcome chants for the former President during his entrance to the arena. Trump enjoys a cordial bond with White and has paid his visits to the promotion’s shows earlier too.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, White discussed the negligence of the production team. He was seemingly unhappy with his team regarding the same.

“Let me tell you what, massive f*ck up by my production team,” White told TMZ Sports. “But, you know, it’s live T.V and these things happen.”

“I don’t even need to tell them. I mean, it’s all part of the deal, you know, what we were doing that night. What s*cks too, is if… you guys could have saw, when he walked into the arena, I’m telling you, I experienced it in New York and then I experienced it in Vegas, there is nothing like it.”

He further added, “The entire arena gets up on their feet. The whole place stands up and everybody got their phones. One of the craziest things you will ever witness.”

Dana White gives an update on Conor McGregor

After suffering a tibia break during his match against Poirier at UFC 264, McGregor underwent successful surgery the very next day. According to sources, he will be out for at least a year.

White, during the interview, also gave an update on his most bankable star’s return timeline. He mentioned that Conor was released from the hospital. McGregor will stay in Vegas for a while before he takes his flight back home.

“He will be back in a year, yeah,” White said.

The UFC President will hope that his talisman returns to octagon action soon. But given the severity of the injury and the subsequent recovery time, it will be a long shot for McGregor to regain his lost ground.
