UFC welterweight veteran Jorge Masvidal believes Tyron Woodley will prove too much for YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul. ‘Gamebred’, who is currently on the sidelines after losing to Kamaru Usman at UFC 261, appeared for an interview with ‘DAZN Boxing’.
Masvidal discussed a lot of topics, including the future of Conor McGregor, future of Jake Paul if he losses besides the match prediction. While talking about the aforementioned fight, Masvidal detailed what makes Woodley the favorite in the fight.

“Only thing I can give you is, ignorance is bliss, right? Jake might think (he’s) better than Woodley and somehow, someway, pull it off. I just don’t see it,” Masvidal said. “Woodley has more quality sparring sessions that I’ve seen even myself against high-level boxers than Jake has right now today.”
Masvidal addressed Woodley’s losing streak and said it shouldn’t be read into too much. According to him, all those fighters that defeated Woodley have been competing at a high level for many years. But he believes Jake is not on that level.

“Jake Paul is not in the group yet, you know. Who are the guys that Jake has beaten? (the hosts named the fighters who fought Jake) I’m not giving them credit for that… I’m not saying he’s beat some credible opponents,” he added.

Jorge Masvidal details how Tyron Woodley used to train with powerful guys
Masvidal has been in the lighting industry for almost two decades. He has seen many top fighters like him train hard every day to give their best. Woodley is one of them. In the interview, he recounts how he has seen Woodley sparring with high-level fighters.
“I’ve seen with my own eyes, I’ve seen on video and in person, from Woodley sparring here n Miami, with high-level guys… he lives boxing every freaking day. Boxing is like his favorite thing,” he further added.
