A massive heavyweight clash was the main event at UFC Vegas 28. Jairzinho Rozenstruik made a statement with a buzzer-beating first-round knockout win over Augusto Sakai. Interestingly, this happens to be the second time in his career that he has secured a knockout win in the last five seconds of a fight. Thus, he has once again proved that he can finish a fight in the blink of an eye, and this is exactly what makes him interesting to watch.
In his post-fight press conference, John Morgan asked Rozenstruik if there is any fight that he wants in particular and what he wants next.

‘Bigi Boy’ replied, “Everybody that is ranked above me it does not matter what style. If this guy is a wrestler, then I have to wrestle and I have to do my kickboxing. If he is a kickboxer, I have to kickbox with him and maybe wrestle with him so for me, it does not matter. I try to make myself more an MMA fighter than just a kickboxer who is doing MMA.”

Following his loss to Ngannou, he bounced back with a win over Junior Dos Santos before succumbing to a loss against Ciryl Gane. ‘Bon Gamin’ exposed a gaping hole in Rozenstruik’s game that was never tested before by any of his previous opponents. During their fight, Gane secured 2 takedowns and had a control time of five minutes. ‘Bigi Boy’ even struggled on the feet as Gane showcased his extremely technical striking game.
