YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul is preparing himself to face former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, in August this year in a boxing match.
His brother, Logan, too, has a task in hand as he sets up to face boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather on June 6th of this month.
Both the brothers have garnered a lot of attention with their interviews and antics in recent times. They have constantly targeted fighters especially from UFC and have trash-talked about them.

One of the issues they have constantly pointed out is the one on pay. Recently, the YouTuber appeared in an interview where he reiterated the pay issue surrounding the UFC fighters.
One interviewer asked Jake about Woodley fighting him for the biggest paycheck of his career. The boxer said, “I think there’s a movement moving forward that is gonna show the fighters should be getting paid more.
“It’s unfair. The UFC fighters don’t have fair pay. Out of all the sports, the percentage of owners get vs the athletes, they are the lowest,” he concluded.

Jake Paul had raised the pay issue during an interview with Chael Sonnen
Prior to this, Paul (3-0) had appeared for an interview with UFC legend Chael Sonnen recently. He talked about the pay issue at that time, too.
“Yeah, that’s accurate. Yeah. I’m a free agent,” he said. “And look, I think that’s the way it should be with all fighters. Like, it just s**ks to see these young kids, these young boxers, these young UFC champions, get tied up into these contracts where they’re owned by the promoter, they’re owned by Dana White.
“And they’re not getting fair pay. They’re not getting the fights they want. This is a big problem. Like, how is ‘Arianna Celeste’ (UFC octagon girl Arianny Celeste) I think is her name.

“She’s a ring girl, right? How does she make more money than some of the fighters in the octagon who are risking their lives? Doesn’t make sense to me,” he added.
While the pay issue has been a hot topic around the UFC for a while, the statement from Paul will certainly add more to it. The promotion is already at loggerheads with Jon Jones’ over the same.
