Charles Oliveira outlines what is next for him in the UFC
In a recent interview, Ariel Helwani asked ‘Do Bronx’ if he had any message for Dustin as he ponders over who he would like to fight next.
The Brazilian fighter said, “When he (Oliveira) saw him like he wants to fight Charles. And he was very happy for that. That’s the fight that has to happen. There is no other fight, Dustin has to fight him (Charles) there is no other guy in front of him. Look what he done to Tony Ferguson and look what Tony Ferguson did to all the other fights before Charles. So that’s the fight, it’s Charles vs Dustin.”

Charles has always been the dark horse in the division. However, after demolishing Tony Ferguson over five rounds, it was clear that Oliveira is a legitimate top contender at 155-pounds.
In the post-fight press conference, Dana White said that he wanted to make a fight between ‘Iron’ and ‘The Diamond’ for the title. However, the Lafayette native was not very fond of the idea.
Since then, Dustin has maintained that Oliveira and Chandler should fight for the belt, and Poirier would then fight the winner.
