The prelims for UFC Vegas 35 have been packed with some incredible fights and performances. To top it off, the featured bout on the preliminary card was a fight between Abdul Razak Alhassan and Alessio Di Chirico.

‘Judo Thunder’ came into the fight with a reputation of being a devastating finisher. He lived up to that image with a jaw-dropping 17-second knockout win over Di Chirico in the very first round of the fight.

As soon as the bell rang, Judo Thunder’ charged forward and backed Di Chirico up against the fence. Once his opponent was up against the fence, Alhassan threw an inch-perfect high kick that landed flush. As soon as the kick connected, Di Chirico dropped to the canvas. The referee stepped in before Alhassan could do any further damage. With the win over Di Chirico, Alhassan became just the 7th fighter in UFC history to earn three or more knockouts in under a minute.

Alhassan has been in the UFC since 2016. After starting off his UFC career with one win and one loss, ‘Judo Thunder’ flipped the switch. From December 2017 to September 2018, Alhassan went on a three-fight win and KO streak.

However, after that, ‘Judo Thunder’ succumbed to three straight losses against the likes of Mounir Lazzez, Kalinn Williams, and Jacob Malkoun. Alhassan stated in his interview that he turned his fortunes around at the behest of his son, who wanted him to start winning. The win means that Alhassan has maintained his record of securing all of his wins via T/KO.
