Conor McGregor’s ascension to the top of the MMA world was swift, to say the least. Just two years into his career with the UFC, ‘The Notorious’ was the undisputed world champion at 145-pounds. Also, he became the undisputed top attraction of the sport, a title he still holds to this very day. Conor McGregor won over a lot of fans with his ability to talk trash and back it up time and time again.

‘The Notorious’ also gained a lot of respect from his fellow UFC fighters for all the good that he was doing for the sport. Needless to say, this has not been the case over the past few months. As ‘The Notorious’ has been firing shots online at almost and every fighter, it has turned away his most staunch supporters. Anthony Smith is one of them.

Like, is he really that untouchable and really feels that he is just free to say what he wants.”

And I can’t stick up for Conor anymore…. This probably really is the true Conor as a person and that’s kinda sad.”

Spann, 4-1 in his last five fights, has secured three of these wins via stoppage. Hence, the fight between the rising Spann and the experienced Smith will be an extremely close contest. A win will most likely bump the victor up into the top five of the division.
