In this particular recollection, Rogan remembers: “Everybody thought that these jerks were gonna win and were kind of bummed out about it. But the woman and her child just rose to the occasion. I remember talking to them and firing them up, but I still didn’t know if they could do it.” The onlookers hoped helplessly for the mother-daughter duo expecting a loss. The result? The underdogs won. “They kept screwing up and they f*cked up because they’d kind of taken it for granted that they were gonna win,” recalled Rogan. He continued with amazement and relief, “The mother and daughter won.” He went on to add that a hardened crew who had been around for over 140 episodes of the most daring feats, cried that moment. “Everybody cried”, he said.

When Peterson noticed Rogan wiping his tears of joy in recalling that fateful victory, he was happy. Happy that it was someone else and not him this time crying in an interview. “One of the things that makes me really happy about this interview, Joe, so far is that, like I have a tendency to tear up in interviews, as you may have noticed. But this time it was you. So, I’m quite pleased about that”, said Jordan.
