Over the past few weeks, Khabib Nurmagomedov has found himself in the news regarding comments he had made on different issues. Earlier last week, a video emerged of a fan allegedly trying to attack ‘The Eagle’.

At the time when the video surfaced, the intentions of the attack were not known. Many speculated that the fan tried to attack Nurmagomedov due to his hesitancy to speak about the situation in Afghanistan while others believed it was because of the recent comments he made about the ring girls.

However, it turns out that none of those speculations were true as Nurmagomedov himself clarified what exactly happened. He said, “He wanted a photo but he tripped.” ‘The Eagle’ shared his thoughts on rumors that the fan tried to attack him with a knife. He said, “Not at all, at least I hope that was not the case. It was a fan who was not let in. He saw me leave and ran up. He tripped but I did not see it, he was behind me. I hope there was no knife.”
