Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley sent a stern to people who try to disrespect his family, especially his mom. ‘The Chosen One’ appeared for an interview with BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani. The former UFC star talked about various things like what to expect on Sunday, how his feud with Jake started, and the recent disrespect thrown by Jake’s corner of his mom.

Everything was going according to plan as two fighters faced off and posed for a photo. But one of Jake’s cornermen had a confrontation with Woodley’s mom, Deborah. Tyron was clearly livid with this and, while being escorted out of the arena, he lashed the man wearing an orange shirt and a reverse orange cap.

The man was none other than pro-boxer and Jake‘s training partner, J’Leon Love. The latter denied saying anything to Woodley’s mom.

Later in the interview with Helwani, Woodley addressed the issue and said, “People always want rags to riches story. But I really don’t glorify that. I really just talk about hard work, dedication, and good people in your circle… some people really just like that.”

He added, “I’m like when you disrespect, especially my mom. I’m going crazy. I’ve knocked people out before because of that. So at the end of the day, I just really felt like the disrespect… I don’t care about the money, I don’t care about the pay-per-view, I don’t care about the fight… a lot of his circle, a lot of his corner guys was upset.”
