UFC 259 was billed as one of the greatest cards in UFC history. While everyone can debate the merits of that argument, there is no debate to this. Amanda Nunes is the greatest women’s fighter of all-time. She has cleaned out two divisions in the UFC and is taking fights against whoever has the audacity to challenge her.

The latest challenger was a genuine featherweight in Megan Anderson. The Australian fighter may be the tallest woman in the UFC, but the saying goes. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Amanda Nunes finished Anderson at the three-minute mark of the first round. After dominating on the feet, ‘The Lioness’ trapped Anderson in an inverted arm triangle and got the Australian to tap out.

Anderson tried to have early success against Nunes and succeeded in landing a few punches. However, that would be the highlight of the night for the Featherweight contender.

After this point, the focus of the show quickly shifted from the dominant champion to her adorable child. Nunes brought her daughter into the cage post-fight, and Megan Anderson even got a chance to say hello to her.

At the end of it all, Nunes left the cage with her time-honored victory tradition of her coach carrying her out on his shoulders. After everything she’s done, she deserves all the recognition coming her way.
No better tradition!
