Ciryl Gane has manifested a total commanding position over the UFC heavyweight division in his short tenure at the promotion. In seven UFC fights, he has beaten the likes of Derrick Lewis, Alexander Volkov, Junior Dos Santos, and many more.
Within just three years of his debut, “Bon Gamin” has secured the interim UFC heavyweight championship from the “Black Beast”. Given that win, he has also landed a title bout with “The Predator” Francis Ngannou.

Ciryl Gane (10-0) and the Cameroonian were sparring partners back in France. Because of this reason, fans have speculated that this might be one of the toughest title defenses of Ngannou’s career.
The Frenchman appeared in an interview with Adam Catterall of BT Sport, where he was asked for his thoughts on the fight.

‘Bon Gamin’ said, “I think Francis did a lot this last years… He improve. and he’s more intelligent, and that’s pretty great. He’s really well-rounded now and I think, uh, it’s going to be more like that because he know I can manage the power. So, maybe he’s sure to be a smart fighter this day.”
Ciryl Gane predicts the result against Francis Ngannou
The heavyweight title bout will take place in January 2022 at Honda Center, Anaheim, California. Fans have also touted the fight between the two heavyweight champs as “Fight for the heavyweight throne.”

The interim UFC heavyweight champion of the world, Gane, has given his prediction. He said, “Um, what’s gonna happen? Uh, I think after it’s gonna be like, maybe like Jairzinho… I am gonna win after five rounds maybe before, with a submission or something like that. Why not?”
