The success of the UFC has been built on people that have been with the company for a very long time. The UFC President, Dana White, and his close-knit team have been together for ages to ensure that the UFC puts on the best combat shows possible.

A UFC live event is unparalleled as an experience for a fight fan. Everything from the cameras, to the pre-fight promotions, and everything in between, helps make an event what it is.

Two notable figures that have been constants for a very long time at UFC live events are Joe Rogan and Bruce Buffer. Any UFC event feels incomplete with both the aforementioned men in attendance.

While Rogan succinctly commentates on what is going on in the fight, Buffer does an unparalleled job of hyping up the fights and introducing the two fighters. Buffer’s deep voice and ability to modulate his voice while introducing fighters is something that gives fans goosebumps every time and is something both fans and fighters love.

Bruce Buffer reaches an incredible milestone with the UFC

Buffer got his call to be a ring announcer when he was with his mother at the hospital. At the time he did not consider going for the job as he did not want to leave his mother alone at the hospital. However, after his mother urged him to take up the opportunity, Burce obliged, and the rest is history.

Buffer first made an appearance with the promotion as an announcer at UFC 8 in February 1996. Ever since this, he has been an integral part of the company he is fondly known as the ‘Veteran Voice Of The Octagon’ and the phrase ‘It’s Time’ is synonymous with Buffer.
