Geoff Neal wants to put on a spectacular performance
‘Hands of Steel’ is now excited about the prospect of facing a Top 5 ranked opponent.
Speaking to the media, Neal was asked if he has any plans to call out anyone from the roster after he gets the win. Geoff responded that he intends to put on a performance that people remember.
“Especially if I finish Wonderboy. If I win a boring decision I’m probably not going to say s**t but if I do something spectacular and impress people, I’m gonna start throwing my name in the hat.”
We see a lot of fighters picking their fights. Neal feels he will be in the position to do the same once he gets a big win over Wonderboy.
“I’m gonna start being more vocal about what I want and who I want to fight.”
‘Handz of Steel’ looking to make his run for the title
Currently ranked #11 in the welterweight division, the Wonderboy fight represents a significant step up in competition.
However, Geoff remains confident in his abilities and looks forward to climbing the UFC rankings.
“I would feel like after I beat him, maybe one more fight, and then I’ll go fight for the belt or maybe I’ll go straight to the title shot depending on the landscape of the division.”
