Carlos Condit is one of the most exciting fighters not only in the welterweight division but also across the UFC roster. He is a fan favorite and has delivered some extremely exciting fights. The same applied when he secured a unanimous decision win over Court McGee on Saturday night. 

With the win on Fight Island, Condit stopped a five-fight skid of losses. ‘The Natural Born Killer’ won his last fight all the way back in May 2015. Since then he has been stopped thrice and gone to the scorecards twice in his five losses. MMA fans would be buzzing to see Condit back to the win column.

Carlos Condit urges the matchmakers to bubble wrap Matt Brown

Following his win over McGee at the post-fight press conference, Condit was asked who he would like to fight next with names like Nick Diaz and Matt Brown put forward. 

‘The Natural Born Killer’ replied, “Either one, Yeah, I mean, there’s a number of match-ups that are intriguing. Diaz, Matt Brown, we’ve been slated to fight several times. I mean yeah, I don’t know, we’ll see.”

Carlos was then asked that given the fight with Matt Brown has fallen out twice if he would be hesitant in accepting a fight against Brown again. To which he replied, “No no necessarily but just bubble wrap that dude up, so we make it to the f***ing fight.”

Condit looked impressive in his win over McGee, and at 36, he proved that he has a lot of fight left in him. In the bout against Court, ‘The Natural Born Killer’ landed an impressive 88 significant strikes with an accuracy of 38%. In addition, he scored a knockdown in the very first round, and in a separate incident, he injured McGee’s nose quite badly.

‘The Natural Born Killer’ has bounced back from an unfortunate run of losses with a win over a difficult adversary. MMA fans will hope to see him maintain the standards displayed today as it was reminiscent of the past.
