Derrick Lewis is tied for the most T/KO wins in the UFC with 12 to his name. ‘The Black Beast’ has quickly become a fan favorite because of his ability to end a fight in the blink of an eye and do it time and time again. Add to that Lewis’ ability to be extremely witty on the mic and being unapologetically himself every single time has garnered him a cult following.
Reporter gets on Lewis’ nerves
Lewis was the star of the UFC 265 press conference that took place recently. Where he answered several questions. A French reporter present in the crowd asked Gane several questions and then turned his attention to Lewis. The reporter asked Lewis how it would feel to lose in front of his home crowd.
‘The Black Beast’ replied, “You’re going to have to excuse my French, but f**k you and f**k him.”. The reporter challenged Lewis that he would remember this answer come Saturday night. Lewis replied, “Write that sh*t down, take a picture. I don’t give a f**k”.

Derrick Lewis vs Ciryl Gane- A preview
The two men involved in the main event at UFC 265 could not have a more contrasting approach to fighting. Gane is more methodical in his approach and prefers to pick his opponent apart from a distance. Lewis likes to close the distance and land his devastating right hand. That has more often than not shut the lights out on everyone who has stood across the cage from him in the UFC.
