Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is gearing up to face Jake Paul later this year. This will mark his debut in boxing after serving UFC for 8 years. His opponent, Paul, will appear for his 4th boxing fight after being undefeated in the first three.

While he is busy preparing for the fight, he is having some trouble dealing with multiple calls. While some of these calls come from his well-wishing fans, others he gets from fans who follow Jake Paul.

During a live video session, he detailed how he gets multiple calls, and that derails his preparation for the fight. “Some kids, seen my live, they support Jake, and they just got my number,” Woodley said. “They keep calling me… to f*ck my life up. So, they keep saying me, ‘Paul, Paul, Paul’… some dumb a** kids calling me.

“I know some of you are calling because you support me. But, if you really support me, allow me to do my thing. I’m a mental and emotional fighter,” he added.

He further requested his fans to not call him frequently as it won’t lead to any meaningful communication. “If you guys support me, don’t call me during training camp. Let me focus. What are you going to say to me when I answer the phone?… ‘thank you for your support,’ that’s all I’m gonna say.”

He further added, “no disrespect to you guys, let me do what I need to do.”
