The main event at UFC 263 featured a rematch three years in the making. Marvin Vettori took on a familiar face in Israel Adesanya with the UFC middleweight belt on the line this time around.

Vettori believed that he had improved a lot more than Adesanya since their first fight. He also believed that Jan Blachowicz exposed a gaping hole in Adesanya’s game, which he would also take advantage of. However, ‘The Last Stylebender’ proved his championship mettle by stuffing takedowns and getting back to his feet when he was taken down.

With the performance tonight, ‘Izzy’ defended his belt for the third time and stayed undefeated at 185-pounds in the UFC.
