For his last two fights, Conor McGregor has adopted a fresh approach. The normally brash, talking individual who does everything in his power to gain an edge by getting under his opponent’s skin was not there anymore.
For his fights against Poirier and Cerrone, ‘The Notorious’ was extremely calm and engaged in little to no trash talk. The interactions between the fighters were always cordial.
This might be due to the fact that Conor, actually respects both ‘The Diamond’ and ‘Cowboy’ which is why there was no trash talking or The Irish superstar has matured and trash talking is not something we will see anymore.

Daniel Cormier gives his opinion on the ‘new’ Conor McGregor
On the recent episode of ‘DC’ & Helwani, Daniel Cormier shared his thoughts on the new approach taken by McGregor for his last two fights.
The former two-division champion continued, “And I think for Conor he was so lose in the buildup that allowed him to just be so free. And I felt like walking out there he looked like himself right? But you could see a little bit less of that McGregor swagger as he walked to the octagon. I don’t care what you say, anybody that watched the fight could see it.
